this is a pangolin, it's my new second favorite animal after an octopus. they are one of the few mammals with no teeth. they eat ants and termites with a long sticky tongue. my old second favorite animal was a penguin but ever since march of the penguins they've been over exposed and have become uninteresting to me.



i'm in an animal behavior summer school class and i think it's turning me into an animal nerd. lately when i see a bird i try to identify it. The other day i was at the zoo and i saw a rhino pee, it was weird and gross.

real life

these are animals that live very very VERY deep in the ocean. if i had the choice to be able to fly or breath under water (and be able to withstand the cold and pressure) i would choose breath under water.

today is my dad's birfday! i love him very much. it's also his twin's birfday and also my best buddy myke's birfday. happy birthday!

my roommate and i just moved into a new apartment on the chicago river facing the wrigley building, and it's the size of a walnut, i adore it. across the street is the chicago regency hotel. last night we saw a man get naked and dance for a person in his hotel room, it was pretty much the best welcoming we could have ever asked for.

there are only 4 more days till it's summer, i think i'm gonna pee my pants.

also i saw the joffrey ballet perform "light rain" with my ballet class and it was outstanding. there was this one dance with this man who i bet was the strongest man in the whole world. there was a strobe light going at a pretty even pace and this super man was in the air every time the strobe light was lit so it looked like he never touched the ground the entire dance. the whole audience was completely blown away, you gotta go see that shit. also there was a dance performed by my all time favorite dancer, maia wilkins, to a song by edith piaf who i just recently discovered and it rocked. i'm dropping out of school and becoming a professional dancer.

last night i was at my grandma's with extended family that i don't get too see that often and we played a game called "egg-stravaganza". we had to decorate an egg and then fight them by tapping them together pointy side first and whose ever egg cracks looses. it might sound kinda lame but it was BOSS!

i've wanted a garden gnome for a long time but the ones on the internet are a lot of money. today i found one for $3 at walgreens and named him chico. i was going to buy a pet fish and name it chico but now i don't have to.

i just got the best e-mail i've ever gotten in my life from "a man with a moustache".

the bahama people called me and told me they had my two free tickets for a cruise to the bahamas. i asked the lady what the catch was and she told me they're an advertising company and they get free trips, they have so many that they can't use some of them and have decided to give them away. she told me the catch was "insert name of advertising company here cause i forgot it". what? does that mean i have to wear a hat and shirt with the company's name on it the whole trip? and then she was like "when you get back you have to tell everyone you know how much fun you had and how our company gave you the trip. i can't decide whether or not this is real. she said she would need my credit card because i have to pay the $60 per person ahead of time to secure my tickets. i have 30 days.

on the bus yesterday, on my way to school, i sat across from a young man, he was reading a book titled "how to say no without feeling guilty" and taking notes. i thought to my self, "huh, i wonder what kind of a situation he got himself into that made him buy that book."



i'm bummed cause i just missed a call from this really cool kid in france that i haven't talked to in a while. he's growing a mustache.

i went to a male strip club last night, it was the most disgusting, hilarious night of my life and i'm never going back. one of the strippers smacked my ass.

Me "HAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAA, YOU'RE SO GROSSSS. is it as bad as on the train that one time?"

cassette tapes

i really like cassette tapes. i like the way they look, i like their size, i like the way they sound when you drop them and i like the way they sound when they're in a box with a lot of other cassette tapes just like them.
